Last One!

This is the last week I have to do a blog for Reporting Class! :) But I am going to try and keep up with it over the summer with some crafts and things that I do this summer, especially since I will have a sewing machine to use! This week I have to have a video so I made a video with my pictures. I took pictures of my craft as I went a long and then put them all in a video. The general idea was that I took a bunch of old magazine, I got them at Salvation Army for 25 cents a piece and then cut up the pictures and ft them in a outline. I used the outline from the pipes of pan because they're awesome. But I think it would work better if it was with an animal or something. I also suggest painting the background first before you put the news paper on it, I didn't think about it and ended up paining the background after.

I used a glue stick and it seemed to work great!

Busy Week

This is one of the last weeks in the semester! It is sorta crazy to only have 2 weeks left! But anyway, this weeks blog is going to be looking at some of the painting I have done in the last week.

 This is the stain glass window rose from Beauty and the Beast. My friend, Mandi, loves Beauty and the Beast so much, so as a late birthday present I painted her this.

 This is the Sigma Alpha Iota crest. It has a lot of special meanings to me as sister of this organization and I was glad to be able to paint it. This took me a really long time because it has so many parts. I spent about 5 hours on this.

 This is the coat of arms for Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. The fraternity my boyfriend is in. This was a lot of fun to paint because its sparkly! :) It took a long time too. I think I was up until about 2 working on this simply because I had to repaint it several times to get the gold to look right.

This is my latest project. My 1st Adopted Big Sister in SAI LOVES Pooh. So as I painted her this. But shhhh...she hasn't gotten it yet. I am going to give it to her tomorrow. :)


Well I have painted a few other things that I don't have pictures of but these are the coolest (or at least I think they are) that I have done.

Hey, I'm a Sister!

So tonight has been a whirl wind of things. I was initiated into SAI! I am so excited. So tonight doesn't get a real craft sorry. But here is my video tonight. I will put a video up for the night! Today we had Alumnae Tea for Sigma Alpha Iota my best friend and now sister Hallie tried to dissect a Siamese twin chocolate covered strawberries! So hopefully this will upload correctly and I will do a craft later! I have a few in mind and now I might have some because I'm a sister!!!!!!!

This week has also been tour for Symphony Band. It was a crazy week because we left at 5:30 on Wednesday morning and drove to Birmingham, Ala., and in the course of 3 days did 6 concerts, 2 a day, before 3 pm everyday. And now, I am back in Troy and last night the Phi Mu Alpha brothers crossed and we had initiation tonight.

One of the best part of initiation is that now I can craft with letters! I can use SAI for all sorts of crafts and hopefully it will show up later!
